Join us for Service Design Day, a global event co-hosted by ATÖLYE and Service Design Network to celebrate service design, raise awareness and create impact in the world around us.
Our panel of experts and enthusiasts, featuring James Samperi (Managing Director, Engine – The Service Design Consultancy), Gavin Payne (SVP, FAB) and ATÖLYE member, Hiba Al Hajj Omar (Multidisciplinary Designer), will go through lightning talk rounds and share Service Design storytelling from across the Dubai chapter. The event will be co-hosted with ATÖLYE member Hammad Khan (@h6khn).
About Service Design Day 2022
The need to reassess how we operate as a society has never been greater as the world continues to cope with the effects that the pandemic and ongoing wars have had on global communities, economies, and social networks.
As service designers, we recognise the importance of our work in these uncertain times, which is why we’re excited to announce that this year’s Service Design Day (June 1, 2022) will continue the “Do Good – Give Back” campaign.
With its launch, we invite all practitioners, students, agencies, and academics from all across the globe to join in and lend your support to those organisations most in need of your services.
What is Service Design Day?
Service Design Day was launched in 2016 and is a day dedicated to service design enthusiasts – a world-wide event to bring together people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
Naturally, Service Design Day should reflect the discipline’s spirit and energy which is why we chose June 1, the beginning of the most youthful month!
