Today at Apple: Building a Creative Community for All

In honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, join art mentor Gulshan Kavarana and artist Asma Baker to discover the power of adopting inclusive practices in the creative community. This session will kick start with a discussion between Asma and Gulshan and then an interactive workshop.

You’ll work with artist Asma Baker to explore the possibilities of digital expression using iPad, Apple Pencil, and Procreate. Bring your devices or we’ll provide them.

About the Facilitators:

As an artist, speaker, and poet, Asma Baker works to inspire young people to follow their dreams. She spoke at the opening ceremony of the World Games in Abu Dhabi and is currently working on an animated film.

Gulshan Kavarana is a mentor supporting artists with disabilities. She founded a support group for children in the disability community and hosts a podcast about the connections she makes through her work.
