CNC Workshop

Prototyping with CNC
This community workshop is intended for beginners who have little or no background in CNC milling. During the workshop, we will touch base on basic working principles of CNC milling machines, look at important details to consider when producing 3d models for CNC prototyping, and briefly talk about each of the CNC machines available at our Makerlab. In addition, we will learn about the user interface of Roland MDX-40A, and we will go over the materials and bits which can be used with this CNC machine. We plan on milling a prototype of our choice at the end of the tutorial. Hakan Alan, who is the expert specialist for CNC machines at Promakim, will also be present at the workshop.
