ATÖLYE’s architectural and spatial design project for the @Dubai Future Foundation Accelerators Space has been chosen as an Honorable Mention in the prestigious 2021 Architecture MasterPrize!
Congratulations to the project team, which included Nesile Yalçın as the lead designer, Begüm Ural, Deniz Dönmez, Engin Ayaz, Gizem Akın, İrem Coşkun, and Yusuf Akın Gülsayın.
The DFF Accelerators space hosts startups in cooperation with the government and private sector entities. Out of a collaboration between ATÖLYE’s service design and architectural design teams, which included over 80 hours of field research, a scenario-based layout system that enables different modes of interactions emerged. With the right interventions, and by utilizing the strengths of the existing design, ATÖLYE created an exploration and production space that is never underutilized.
The new design of the space “has reinvented the way we work,” said @Abdulaziz Al Jaziri, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation.
The Architecture MasterPrize celebrates and recognizes creative and innovative projects that push boundaries and set new standards in architectural design. ATÖLYE’s work was recognized among hundreds of project entries in the Workspaces category.
