As the co-founder of Gehl, Helle has guided the company to international acclaim in the field of urban design and urban development. Under her strategic and visionary leadership, Gehl has earned numerous awards and recognition for their impactful work in creating livable, sustainable cities worldwide. Her extensive expertise and strategic insight into urban analysis, visioning, and design have shaped cities like Copenhagen, Vancouver, New York, and São Paulo.We believe Helle’s passion for building healthy urban environments, combined with her exceptional strategic acumen, will bring invaluable insights to our organization as we continue expanding our community-powered impact in the Middle East and Europe.

About Helle:
Helle Søholt is a trailblazer in urban design and development. She earned her architectural training at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and the University of Washington in Seattle, then completed a Master of Management Development at Copenhagen Business School.Helle co-founded Gehl with Professor Jan Gehl in 2000, and her leadership has been instrumental in creating an impressive body of work that prioritizes urban quality, livability, and mobility. She is a sought-after speaker at international conferences and serves on numerous competition juries across Europe.
