We are graduating our first guest in the “Designer-in-Residence” program, which we had launched for designers to bring to life new materials and designs. The first resident Bilge Nur Saltik produced new techniques and textures to uncover the potential of sponge in her material-focused project. She worked on the interactions between different substances like sponge, soap, and wood, and how they can be used in the acoustic panel and scent dispensary areas.
Now, we’re at the end of the program. As part of the program, Nur will share the design process and what she’s done with all of us at a mini-exhibition at ATÖLYE on Thursday, February 15th. Let’s listen together the production journey of a designer!
